Earlier this fall, in SoHo House’s Club Room, artist and painter Kate Schelter hosted a delightful Watercolor Painting Party. Inviting a fabulous group of friends and family for a “dream come true” evening spent sipping cocktails and getting a taste of her creative world, the event was hosted by historical brand Cointreau–as one of several event activations that have taken place throughout the year in support of other creatives.
Schelter treated her guests to an instructional watercolor class as they sipped delicious “Cointreau Rickey”s and tested their artistic skills, painting her favorite things like elegant lipsticks, bright citrus fruits, and beautiful flowers. David Gruning, Frances Tulk-Hart, John Derian, Jennifer Sample, Jeanann Williams, Hanu K Hanuk, and Michaela Doamantes were just some of the wonderful guests in attendance who proved that a tasty and refreshing Cointreau cocktail is the first step to creating a masterpiece.
