Pirate Romance Offers Good Vibes for Spring/Summer 2012

Neon, fringe, hand-dyed turquoise, and metals laced with leather: these are just some of the things that you can expect from Pirate Romance’s latest collection. The NY-based jewelry line’s playful new range was inspired by designer Joi French’s favorite ’80s cartoon, Jem, so naturally there’s an homage to the fictional pop star’s signature Synergy earrings.

In addition to the triangle-shaped "Good Vibes" earrings that come in gold or neon, the collection features confetti and overly-embellished rings and bracelets fit for fans of flash. See more pieces here

This isn’t the first time that a style influencer has been inspired by Jem. Back in 2010, we highlighted Frida Gustavsson in Vogue UK’s glam rock editorial. There’s something about glitter and stars that the fashion world just can’t quit.
