THURSDAY: South Beach Wine & Food Festival Takes Over Miami
Foodies of the world head to the Magic City en masse for South Beach Wine & Food Festival, the renowned culinary festival that brings celebrity chefs to headline tons of tasty events, cooking demonstrations, book signings, wine tastings, seminars, dinners, and parties – all for the love of food. Not to be missed: the tribute dinner to Nobu Matsuhisa, hosted by Martha Stewart and the Burger Bash: a pageantry of meat ‘n’ bun monstrosities, vying for the title of the loveliest burger of all.
South Beach Wine & Food Festival is taking over Miami on Thursday the 21st through Sunday the 24th at various locations. For tickets and information, check out the official website.
NEXT MONDAY: Dinner Series at Hyde Beach
If the price tag of the chilled seafood Platter at the SLS Hotel’s Hyde Beach has scared you silly, make your way to the hot spot this Monday. Hyde Beach is beginning to host a Monday night dinner series starting today. Dinner at 10pm is $45 and includes the restaurant’s most popular dishes.
Monday Night Dinner Series is happening now at Hyde Beach (1701 Collins Ave., South Beach). For details, read the listing in BlackBook Guides.
SUNDAY: Wood Tavern’s Backyard Boogie
Since it launched earlier this year, the weekly bash – located in Wood Tavern’s lush, back-yard oasis in the middle of Wynwood – has become the place to be on the “Sunday Funday” party scene. Get drunk on $5 sangria and spiked lemonade, and kick it with DJs spinning old-school hip-hop while grill-masters fire up ribs, burgers, and vegetarian options.
End the weekend at Wood Tavern (2531 NW 2nd Ave. Wynwood.) See the complete listing at BlackBook Guides.
