Chanel Iman and Barbara Palvin photographed by Chris Shintani for Revolve
Cute. Revolve Clothing has tapped gorgeous duo Chanel Iman and Barbara Palvin to pose for the fall ’14 catalogue titled “The A to Z Guide for Going Back to Cool,” and the pair can be seen in a few school-reminiscent locales — think the track, a teacher’s desk, the bleachers… and in Chanel’s case… in a state of undress in the locker rooms. The two are also Victoria’s Secret Angels…
We don’t really remember getting dressed for gym class being that sexy, but ok.
Take a look at some of the images here before the full lookbook drops next week, and watch out on revolveclothing.com when the actual guide will reveal a letter a day through the end of August.
Harlem born and bred rapper A$AP Rocky doesn’t leave a lot of room for ambiguity. From his breakout moment–the 2011 release of his slow-rumbling, fast-talking hit ‘Peso’–he’s been clear about who he is and where he comes from. He’s a self-declared “pretty motherf*cker,” a one time drug dealer who signed with RCA’s Polo Music Group for a record-pushing $3 million after the release of his debut mixtape, a New York boy who’s quick to embrace Houston’s hazy flow and Memphis’ harsh crunk.
Tom Ford quietly married his partner of 27 years, Richard Buckley, in the US, announcing the marriage at an Apple store event in London. The couple has one son together, one and a half year old Alexander John Buckley Ford.
Page Six (so take that as you will) reports that Chanel Iman and A$AP Rocky are secretly (well not anymore!) engaged. Chanel hasn’t been seen with a ring just yet, but we’re looking forward to seeing what kind of diamond the styled rapper comes up with for the model.
Congrats all around.

In case you weren’t still glued to your computer at 12:01 this morning, you probably haven’t yet feasted on Beyoncé’s newest release: a full 14-song eponymous visual album. On Bey’s site, you can watch and listen to 30-second previews of each.
For “Yoncé” Queen B brought in models Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, and Chanel Iman. Talk about the best modeling gig ever. Also featured? Matte and uber-lacquered red lips, grills, and bondage-inspired clothes hosiery and accessories.
Some might call this video by Danish photographers of supermodel Chanel Iman pole dancing just a video a supermodel pole dancing. But you would be wrong, because it is art!
InChanel Rising, Chanel Iman, sporting a kickass Afro and covered in glitter, writhes around a pole in stiletto heels to the sounds of an electric guitar in the background. Norweigan photographers Dusan Relgin and Hilde Pettersen Reljin, who are husband and wife, have worked with Iman before on Victoria’s Secret campaigns and asked if they could make a "short film" about her pole dancing after they learned it is her new favorite way to exercise.
Whatever you want to call Chanel Rising, you can’t deny she’s got pole dancing skills — and given how hard that shit is to do, it’s truly something.

Victoria Secret has announced it will add five fresh faces to its line-up of genetically superior mannequins this season. The models in question: Emanuela de Paula, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Chanel Iman. Iman is no doubt the most recognizable of the group, but having been added to the Victoria Secret roster gives the aforementioned models as good a chance as any to becoming household names as well (especially considering, according to Fashionologie, such contracts typically are signed for three years). Victoria’s Secret is gearing up to tape its much-anticipated annual runway show November 19.
With three of its catwalk’s most famous faces having just given birth, or just about to do so, the addition of some newbies isn’t surprising. Sitting on the sidelines this season will be Heidi Klum, who just gave birth three weeks ago; Adriana Lima, who is rapidly nearing her due date; and last but not least Karolina Kurkova, who welcomed her first child just last week. However, Klum for one will be in attendance, as she’ll be playing host. Also making an appearance: the winner of a countrywide search for a new Victoria’s Secret model that included bikini castings and Angel Boot Camp. Titillating video of the search here. As per usual, expect plenty of flesh and over-the-top lingerie loaded with feathers, lace, crystals, and maybe even some Christmas ornaments.
NYC socialite Nan Kempner famously embraced the no-pants trend back in the 1960s. When the fashion icon arrived at La Cote Basque in a new-style pantsuit, she was infamously told at the door, “no women in pants allowed.” So, rather than hang her head, Kempner merely took off the pants she was wearing under her tunic and walked in the front door. Fast-forward to today: dress code policies aside, the pants-less trend appears to be gearing up take hold well beyond the world of Lady Gaga.
Two weeks ago on a Yahoo forum, Carolyn L asked “Are women really wearing this no pants look?” in light of a recent blog post on Lady Gaga and Katy Perry’s “no-pants pact.” If the Matthew Williamson for H&M launch party earlier this week is any indication, the answer is yes. New Yorkspoke to model Chanel Iman at the event about her sequined number that just so happened to be Topshop, not H&M. “I had on pants earlier, but I just took them off,” Iman said. In other words, it looks like it might be an especially leggy summer.
