In “well that’s pretty amazing” casting news, Ryan Murphy has brought in the incomparable Selma Blair to play Kris Kardashian Jenner in the forthcoming American Crime Story, which is of course about O.J. Simpson and is sure to include enough courtroom scenes to call for a home screening of Legally Blonde to freshen up on what Selma looks like giving her best side eye. I mean Selma Blair as Kris Jenner? Yes!

More casting news this way….

So in preparation, here’s a look at Selma Blair at her most Kardashian-esque (you didn’t think she was like that, but she is):

Selma Blair tries blonde, just as a Kardashian is wont to do — i.e. Kim’s platinum moment.

She’s Just Being Miley: The Happy Hippie Foundation Launches to Support LGBTQ Youth

Photo: Billy Farrell/BFA.com

Congratulations to Miley Cyrus on her just-launched Happy Hippie foundation which works to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBTQ youth and other vulnerable populations. Watch her emotional backyard session with Joan Jett, and make a contribution if you can.

Miley Cyrus has long been an outspoken advocate for being yourself. From dying her armpits pink to swinging ass-naked on her wrecking ball to her debut as a visual artist at the Jeremy Scott show last fall, whatever Miley does, the phrase “she’s just being Miley” echoes.

With her Disney days far behind her, Cyrus is using her voice and her platform (18.8 million Instagram followers) to support those for whom society makes it a little harder to just “be yourself.” With The Happy Hippie Foundation, launched with a partnership with Facebook (47 million likes), Miley will share updates and exclusive Backyard Sessions that encourage viewers to donate.

The first, which you can watch below, features Cyrus and Joan Jett in a duet of Jett’s song “Different,” an appropriate choice for the organization, which aims to “fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations,” the website states.

In celebration of Cyrus’s commitment to individuality, a look back at all the many ways she’s just being Miley…and looking incredible doing just that.

Met Gala Best Dressed: 16 of the Ball’s Impeccable Style Stars

Photo: Joe Schildhorn/BFAnyc.com

The red carpet: where celebrities (and their stylists) show their best stuff. For the Met Gala, the ante is upped considerably — this is where the fashion industry watches with a meticulous eye, where style stars are exalted, and where fashion fails are hard to forget. With Monday evening’s Met Gala theme of China: Through the Looking Glass, there were a certain few who really hit it out of the park, from Rihanna (in custom Guo Pei, a Chinese couturier whose gilded piece welcomes visitors to the exhibit), to a glittering Fan Bing Bing, to Lady Gaga, an empress in Balenciaga. Beyoncé showed off a Givenchy we’ll not soon forget, and Kim Kardashian‘s look reminded us too much of a Beyoncé look (and a Cher look) we’d already seen. So without further ado, here is the Met Gala Best Dressed.
