Exposed beams. Reclaimed wood floors. Whitewashed brick walls and a glass chandelier. No, this isn’t a listing for an overpriced studio loft; this is Soleto Trattoria & Pizza Bar, a Southern Italian industrial chic spot that opened its downtown doors today. We’re a big fan of any wood-fired pizzas, but when you let us eat al fresco and offer oven-baked meatballs marinara and grilled oyster mushrooms on the side, we’re sold.
Elsewhere (like in Atwater Village), Bon Vivant Market is officially open, serving lunch, dinner, drinks, dessert and to-go. This means soups, sandwiches, pasta, salads, charcuterie, cheese, beer and wine (both on tap), plus a variety of vegan and gluten-free products. A great stop before your next house party.
