Héctor Sanz of Rayuela and Macondo hooks up with Jesús Núñez of Gastroarte for classic Spanish. Think tapas, sangria, paella, served until 2am to accommodate homesick Iberians. Special paella pans allow sampling of multiple varieties in one order. Sangria bar serves from custom barrels. Maintains cred by sourcing ingredients from the old country. Rustic room reflects “shack” of the name, with plenty of raw wood and brick.
