Scotland Yard has revealed another person has come to them accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault. The new allegation comes from a Westminster woman saying he disgraced film mogul assaulted her in the 1990s, bringing the number of cases that the London police are actively investigating to ten.
Weinstein is not formally named in the official report released today to Variety, but it’s understood that the term “Operation Kaguyak” refers to the ongoing investigations into his behavior.
See below the statement released by the London Metropolitan Police:
“Officers from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command have received allegations of sexual assault from 10 victims under Operation Kaguyak. On 8 February an allegation was received that the man sexually assaulted a woman (Victim 10) in Westminster in the mid-1990s.”
Weinstein is also under investigation by the police departments in New York and Los Angeles.
