Chinese inspirations in pepper-steak sticky buns, kung pao bass, Peking duck. Japanese accents in creative sushi rolls, udon noodles with short ribs. Pastry station, too, for smooth finishes. Café up front opens to the street, doubles as daytime bakery. Main dining space in back goes for swank and bubbly. Red chairs really pop, playing off gilded wallpaper. Swank.
