The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog

Two levels from Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon might as well be two totally different bars. On the ground floor, beers on tap, a plethora of whiskeys, sawdust on the floor, on the second, a leather bound book of 19th century historically accurate cocktails (bishops, cobblers, cups, daisies, fixes, flips, nogs, juleps, smashes, slings, possets…), small plates, and communal punch served in teacups. Then there’s the grocery selling cheese, spread, olives… a nod to the 19th century need for a front. It’s named for the old Irish gangs of New York, the Dead Rabbits.
