Start your day with a croissant and some killer coffee. Come back at lunch for excellent panini, walk it on down to a Union Square bench. Dinner time is for the ambitious, with elaborate small plates like duck confit and frisée and blood orange salad, or shrimp wrapped in pancetta. Items made fresh in house, from the bread to the pasta to the gelato. Weathered brick backs the big, rustic main room. Wine selection is exquisitely knowing.
