Indeed, namesake is Georgette Farkas, former Daniel Boulud PR guru, and together with former Daniel chef David Malbequi, they bring a bit of glitter to spit roasted meats; and wouldn’t you know, the Poulet Roti (with wild mushrooms and seared foie gras) is the prize dish. Atmosphere is all Euro ele-gan-tay, with boudoir drapes, Louis XV sconces and gorgeous repro (?) Aubusson tapestries. Tipples also swanky, with names like Cosmo Flanneur and the Velvet Gentleman.
