Keith McNally’s (Balthazar, Schillers) Italian farmhouse fare on the slanted west village sidewalk features homemade pastas and Mediterranean fare: vongole, branzino, sardines, simple succulent meat and poultry with fresh herbs and that exquisite Balthazar bread. Groovy, rockin’ bar scene. One of a few good west village breakfasts, with lunch and supper late. Can’t go wrong.
