Friend of a Farmer

No need to spring for that house upstate, just brunch here on the weekends. Farmland-style joint treats freshness as a sacrament. Southern skillets on wooden tables will shake the city out of you. Mason jars filled, unfortunately, with lentils rather than moonshine, which you will sorely need if you hate children, so be forewarned. Enormous egg breakfasts, crab cakes, daily fresh fish. Mellow vibe, bring a book and ditch the laptop.
