Watch Odd Future’s Centaur-Inspired ‘Rella’ Video

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) is sticking with the group approach, even as it becomes more and more apparent that the bulk of the attention falls upon Tyler, the Creator and the recently returned Earl Sweatshirt. Still, friendship is magic, which is why the group is releasing a collaborative album entitled Odd Future Tape Vol. 2 on March 20, following Vol. 1‘s release from a few years ago. Last night, they dropped a video for first single "Rella," featuring Tyler, Domo Genesis and Hodgy Beats. Directed by Tyler and produced by Left Brain, it’s a buzzing, shambolic trip through the teenage id — par for the course, as we’ve learned to expect from the Wolf Gang. (NSFW if your job sucks.)

Bad wigs, plenty of drugs, women getting slapped in the face: It’s an Odd Future video, alright. With all the vitriol flowing both ways over the weekend’s Rihanna/Chris Brown collaborations, Odd Future’s joke’s-on-you approach to domestic abuse seems kind of funny, right? Hah, no, of course it doesn’t. But give them credit for sticking so hard to an aesthetic that they definitely won’t regret when they grow up, no sir. "Dad, how come everyone was praising you as an artistic genius when you weren’t really that funny?" "Son, it was the Obama Administration. No one was really that funny."
