Popping, Locking and Firecrackers In Video For Foals’ New Single, ‘Inhaler’

Speaking of all this election hype, here’s something that will really take you back to 2008! Oxford quintet Foals, whose debut album Antidotes and its jittery single "Cassius" were all over the place a few months before the last presidential election, are back! Actually, they had a second album that was pretty well-received in 2010, but now they’re back again!

"Inhaler," the first single off Foals’ upcoming third album, Holy Fire (which drops in February 2013), is incredibly catchy, with a big, brash and occasionally shouty chorus, and will make a good soundtrack to your reliving 2008 by drinking every time you hear "HOPE" or "CHANGE," watching interviews with Hologram will.i.am. and poring over Nate Silver’s findings and projections. The video, which also premiered today, features the band rocking out cut in with images of street artists, BMX bikers and several people dancing alone with headphones, including one particularly adept at the art of popping and locking. Watch and listen.
