Recently named #1 on Billboard’s “Next Big Sound Chart,” Toronto-based trap trio Keys N Krates has found fame after two mixtapes, two EP’s, and perhaps most prominently, a series of remixes that flooded the Internet instantly upon release. While they may not be as notorious as Electric Zoo’s headliners, the three are quickly climbing the ladder of Electronica’s most impressive producers and performers.

Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall of DJ duo The Chainsmokers speedily gained a substantial following after the online releases of various indie band remixes. The free release of their single “#SELFIE” in 2013 won them a huge amount of commercial attention, particularly with the track’s viral music video. With such instantaneous success, one can only imagine that the duo won’t fall into the category of one-hit-wonders anytime soon.

“Electro-soul” artist GRiZ has combined diverse musical talents in order to become a unique and obvious standout in the EDM world. The artist blends live saxophone over his tracks while performing, making the experience sincerely different than not watching him live. His personal releases, as well as those he did in collaboration with Brooklyn-based Gramatik under the name GrizMatik, have led to the public acknowledgement of the star’s capacity to become something bigger than the genre in which he has thus far been labeled.
