Perpetually happening Downtown Italian from Sotto’s Bill Chait, it’s inventive in all the right ways. To wit, the antipasti include smoked sea urchin bottarga and chicory salad, and foie gras terrine made with Stumptown coffee. But it’s all about the house made pastas: pici with lamb ragu, agnolotti alla vaccinara with braised oxtail. Serious cocktail program means the copper bar is a scene in itself.
