20th Century Fox just released a new trailer for Paper Towns, its new movie based on the bestselling book by John Green. The young adult summer flick stars Nat Wolff (formerly of Nickelodeon’s Naked Brothers Band) and Karl Lagerfeld’s favorite model, Cara Delevingne. If you fell victim to the teen drama that was last summer’s The Fault In Our Stars, then you should buy your tickets to Paper Towns, out July 24, now.
Set in a suburban Florida town, the story follows nerdy but cute Nate (Wolff) and popular and pretty Margo (Delevingne) on a one-night adventure to take down Margo’s enemies, from the boyfriend who cheated on her to the friends who knew but didn’t say anything. It has all the makings of a high school teen drama, like hormonal high school boys driving minivans and girls vying for prom dates.
Cara Delevingne puts on an excellent, though slightly forced, American accent, a skill that we can expect to see a lot more of. The socialite, model and inherent cool girl has made no secret of her silver screen ambitions since she first started walking down the runway. She had a small role in 2012’s Anna Karenina and plays a student in the Amanda Knox movie Face of an Angel (out June 30). It’s safe to say that she won’t be as busy on the fashion week circuit anymore — she also has roles in the Peter Pan remake, Pan, out this fall, and 2016’s Suicide Squad.
