This just in: The legendary Barneys Warehouse Sale is being held online this season for the first time, ever. Racked revealed that although the IRL sale was cancelled altogether in LA, the NY sale is still happening—but in three long, grueling weeks from now. To satisfy hardcore bargain hunters, Barneys secretly launched the online version of the sale early today. I’ve been trolling the site all morning and I must say: I’m really enjoying not waiting in gross long lines, dealing with annoyingly aggressive shoppers, and scavenging through super picked-over racks only to find nothing in my size.
Although the site is sure to crash at any given moment now that the whole world knows about it, so far it’s pretty smooth sailing. Some of my prized price-slashed finds include this Isabel Marant Lia Dress (reg $2,195; now $879), this Étoile Isabel Marant tie-dye short sleeve sweatshirt (reg $325; now $129), and this Boy. by Band of Outsiders leather trim short dress (reg $725; now $179). There’s stuff for dudes, kids and home, too.
Other worthy acquisitions include Yves Saint Laurent accessories (snatch up all o.g. stuff now before the brand becomes Saint Laurent Paris), Yohji Yamamoto dresses, Theyskens’ Theory everything, slacks by The Row, T by Alexander Wang basics, and heavenly prints by Suno. Go now, now, now!
