The world of e-commerce is blowing up so fast even the small boutiques are hopping aboard the bandwagon. BBlessing is joining the ranks of independent shops with digital storefronts thanks to a new partnership with Farfetch. The Lower East Shop that services guys in the market for classic bordering on avant-garde tailored pieces and subtly luxe accessories can now peruse wares from Patrik Ervell, Rag & Bone and Tim Hamilton among other labels. BBlessing is likewise stocking its house line as well as its recent collaboration with Rogan at the virtual shop. But, for the fruits of a not-yet-launched partnership with Topshop, men will have to head to the latter.
With a little help from the British mega retailer, the dapper dude-friendly shop is embarking on a new project that’s centered entirely around trench coats. “As the final piece in a series of collaborative projects, Topman has hand-selected designers to re-interpret a staple garment from a Man’s wardrobe. Designers Mihara Yasuhiro, Tim Soar, B Blessing and Alister Mackie were asked to create their version of the perfect trench coat alongside Topman Design’s own version,” says Dazed Digital. Styles range from a three-quarter sleeved coat from seasoned stylist Mackie to a worn-in version from Tokyo-based Yasuhiro. As for B Blessing, “their trench coat design is full length and black in colour complete with zips in place of buttons. The lining of the coat incorporates a personal poem written throughout.”
