It’s a fresh start for Gucci creative director Frida Giannini and Patrizio di Marco, formerly the company’s CEO — the two shared, until recently, not just an employer but share a life together as a couple — will they stick together in their next gigs as well?
The CEO position has already been filled as Marco Bizzarri, an alum of Bottega Veneta and Stella McCartney, takes the helm.
No successor has been named just yet, but as a rep told WWD, “recruitment is underway.”
Names reportedly being tossed around include Givenchy’s (and LVMH’s) Riccardo Tisci, and Kering member Joseph Altuzarra.
Fall/winter 2015 will be Giannini’s last collection for Gucci.
