Topshop is making it’s 5th Ave debut, and its second Manhattan home, a big one. At 40,000 square feet, the new flagship will be the second biggest in the world, coming in after only the brand’s Oxford Circus home in London. Spanning four stories, there is an emphasis on curation. The store feels particularly more spacious than Soho in spite of a very high volume of merchandise. To add to the celebratory feel, the store features a number of get em while they last 5th Ave exclusives.
If you’ve ever waited on line to try on in Soho, you’ll be happy to hear that the new venue features 50+ dressing rooms across the store. And, if you happen to be a frequent customer, chances are you will never run out of purchase options–300 new pieces will be delivered on a weekly basis.
Topshop’s personal shoppers will continue to offer their expertise, and upon request can even have champagne on hand. Alterations are also available. As a result of the modern, deco-inspired look of the store, it’s a very luxe experience.
The store will officially open tomorrow, with special guest (and first solo face of the brand) Cara Delevingne to mark the occasion. And, if you can’t hardly wait, check out Julia Restoin Roitfeld’s exclusive picks for BlackBook.
