Tommy Wiseau’s 2003 indie film, The Room was so bad, it was brilliant. Its unusual cult following made it a perfect project for an artist and filmmaker like James Franco. His new film, The Disaster Artist is a dramatization of the making of the worst movie ever.
But from the trailer, it seems this could possibly be the best movie James Franco has made. Starring alongside brother Dave, James captures a portrait of Hollywood through the eyes of a true dreamer. And with a star-studded cast that includes Sharon Stone, Zac Efron and Bryan Cranston among many other big names, it looks to be a testament to Tinseltown that resonates with dreamers at every level.
