But another title from the writer’s repertoire of scares will also be soon making its way to our screens. Indeed, later this month Netflix is releasing Gerald’s Game, starring Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood.
Based on King’s 1992 suspense novel of the same name, the film focuses on Gerald (Greenwood) and Jessie Burlingame (Gugino), a married couple who, in an attempt to spice up their relationship, heads to a secluded cabin in the woods. But when they introduce handcuffs into the bedroom and Gerald is left incapacitated, Jessie experiences disturbing visions during her fight to survive.
Gerald’s Game premieres September 29 on Netflix.
