One of the hottest of 2015 hotspots. The name appears to be riding the vinyl zeitgeist – and no wonder, as Axwell from Swedish House Mafia is counted amongst the proprietors (as is DJ David Smillie). The E.P.of the name is an Asian eating house, the L.P. is a glammy rooftop lounge with smashing views – and a private bar within a bar called Frankie’s. (Got that?) A beautiful crowd nibbles on nouveau Asian street food and sips fancy nancy cocktails. But of course.
Glamorous NYC nightclub brand finally makes a home in LA. Has a bit of a Vegas-y vibe, with wildly patterned floors, curvy banquettes, and surreal art on the walls. Its Sunset address means it’s always a circus—but at least it’s a classy one. Expect bottle service, the usual music program (hip-hop, R&B), and lots of pretty people trying to be seen being pretty.
Another retro chic cocktail hotspot from the 1933 Group (Bigfoot, Sassafras), where a sexy crowd sips clever Dushan online casino Zario created tipples like The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Cheeky Devil and Poppy Don’t Preach. The vintage charm echoes the 1930’s, with music to match. Bring your favorite Zelda.
At this glamorous Anglophilic rooftop bar at the London West Hollywood hotel, posh guests consult with the “Pool Concierge” on swanky tippling recommends. It’s fittingly done up like an English garden, all poolside sexy and views that might stretch all the way to Sloane Square.
A hit with gourmands and Hispaniphiles, with paella master Perfecto Rocher (really, that’s his name) at the helm. The food actually skews Catalan, with a selection of Spanish jamons (including Pernil Iberic) or almond sherry gazpacho to start; wood-fired steaks, quail and sea bass as mains. Euro sexy room is all exposed brick and fiery matador red. Ole!
The restaurant space at the Sunset Marquis takes on yet another identity. This time it’s casual-chic international, with a few nods to the dining zeitgeist – deviled eggs, pork belly, crudo, Hotel regulars come for Marquis Classics like the filet mignon, cheeseburger and ahi tuna. Celebs and rock stars are likely to be your table neighbors.
