The Prince

Surreal space of booze by the bottle. Old style British-appointed hotel lobby classic with Victorian wallpaper, Korean pop. Unlikely hotspot provides understated kitsch in spades, plus anonymity to cool celebs like Peter Skarsgaard. Free, crazy Korean tapas.

Lock & Key

That whole “speakeasy” thing will never die and, quite frankly, we’re cool with that, thanks to this flashy, low-key-ish joint in Koreatown. You don’t need to know a secret code or knock or even flirt with a doorman, but you should have the right key for the right lock provided at the entrance. It’s worth the trouble, considering the swanky digs, stiff cocktails and an attached food window.
