● The Whitney Biennial has officially been occupied: a very believable Biennial site,, announced yesterday that the museum has made the "difficult decision" to break with two of the Biennial’s corporate sponsors — Sotheby’s and Deutsche Bank — "whose recent corporate conduct has made it impossible for the Museum to maintain a partnership with them." Needless to say, such is not the case, and the hoax is thought to be the work of Arts & Labor, a working group of Occupy Wall Street. [NYT]
