Unless you’re blind or illiterate, you’ve surely noticed the many ideas we’ve given you on where to shop for loved ones this season. If you’re a Brooklyn resident, you’ll have even more opportunities this weekend to cross everyone off your list. This Saturday, December 4, head to the Handmade Holiday Craft Fair at 3rd Ward in Bushwick—you’ll find local and national vendors hawking handmade wares from clothing to baked goods to jewelry. In 3rd Ward’s huge, maze-like space, you’d be hard-pressed to leave without buying something.
And if you thought the party ends there, don’t miss the mobile pop-up stopping by 3rd Ward! The Shiny Squirrel and Brooklyn Based are teaming up to present a new kind of pop-up that comes to you—the wares are displayed in the back seat and trunk of a Ford Edge. Featuring items from Wooden Sleepers, Digby & Iona, and Of a Kind, many of the pieces cannot be found elsewhere in stores. RSVP for the Handmade Holiday Craft Fair here and stop by between 2-3 pm, when the mobile pop-up will be open for business!
