Combination of Persian, Italian and American cuisines, with clientele of ex-pats and locals. Welcoming interior. Italian side of the menu solid enough, but stick with the Persian. Beef or chicken koobideh plates are wonderfully charred and delicious, especially when topped with a dollop of minty, cucumbery yogurt sauce. Fesenjoon is a miracle – fragrant and satisfying pomegranate and walnut chicken stew. All sides are perfect – including gratifyingly creamy and oily hummus that compliments everything. Dessert: Persian ice cream with rosewater and saffron (wow).
