Those offensive sorts of people who would never venture south of Delancey Street make an exception to dine at Fat Radish. It’s the restaurant that started the high-end cuisine craze in the neighborhood. The food is best described as new American. Fresh to a fault, from the produce to the seafood to the eggs, you can taste the farm in every bite. It’s a total scene; it’s impressive as hell; and yet it’s somehow laid back, like your favorite West Village spot but without the pretense.
